The Rob Blokzijl Award recognizes individuals who made substantial and sustained technical and/or operational contributions to the development of the Internet in the RIPE NCC Service Region and/or supported others to make such contributions.
The goal of the award is both to remember Rob and to recognize people who, like Rob, supported others and the community in general.
Past examples of such people can be found here.
Usually the award is presented at a RIPE meeting every two years and includes a monetary prize.
